Spring Creek Canyon Walk to Martha Goodwin's Memorial Bench.
The path is a flat gravel dirt road used by the PA Fish and Game Commission that runs adjacent to Spring Creek, there is one small 10‘ incline. It’s about ½ mile out and ½ back. For those who’d like to continue to stretch those legs we’ll travel on another ½ to a bridge and a good view of the “canyon” wall, look up while on the bridge.
It’s Central PA and the ticks are always out and about, as long as you stay on the path you really shouldn’t have anything to worry about. But better to be safe then sorry, it’s always best to check any exposed skin when returning from a walk in the woods.
